P94: The Comparison Psychological Symptoms PTSD in Male and Female Patients

This research has been conducted to compare purpose psychological symptoms post-traumatic stress in male and female patients. The sample of this study selected from two group PTSD male and female patients (each group 40 people) they were randomly chosen and matched groups by Age and IQ, when they completed WAIS-R. Also examined by Watson PTSD diagnostic interview (repetitious experience, avoidant symptoms and over activation) and SCL 90 phobia, aggression, anxiety, compulsion, hypochondria, thinking disorder, paranoia, depression and individual sensitivity) test. The results of this research showed that PTSD female patients had less over activation and aggression and paranoia in comparison to male patients. Against, avoidant symptoms, compulsion and phobia had showed in female more of the other group .The data from this study is indicate the meaningful different in psychological symptoms PTSD between male and female and so on the results are discussed the relation meaningful between psychological symptoms post-traumatic stress and sexuality specifications people. |
