اثر یک دوره اسب سواری درمانی بر کیفیت زندگی زنان مبتلا به مالتیپل اسکلروز

مقدمه: هدف از پژوهش حاضر، تعیین اثر یک دوره اسب سواری درمانی بر کیفیت زندگی زنان مبتلا به مالتیپل اسکلروز بود. مواد و روش‌ها: پژوهش حاضر یک مطالعۀ نیمه‌تجربی با طرح پیش‌آزمون و پس‌آزمون و یک گروه کنترل است. در میان بیماران مبتلا به مالتیپل اسکلروز 24 بیمار از یک مرکز بالینی در اصفهان به روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس انتخاب و به طور تصادفی در گروه‌های تجربی و کنترل قرار گرفتند. در مرحله پیش‌آزمون، شرکت‌کنندگان پرسشنامۀ کیفیت زندگی بیماران مالتیپل اسکلروز (54-MSQOL) را تکمیل کردند. سپس گروه تجربی به مدت 8 هفته (3 روز در هفته به مدت 30 دقیقه) به انجام تمرینات اسب سواری درمانی پرداختند. بعد از اتمام مداخله، از شرکت‌کنندگان هر دو گروه پس‌آزمون به عمل آمد. یافته‌ها: بین میانگین نمرات گروه‌های تجربی و کنترل در ابعاد سلامت جسمانی و روانی کیفیت زندگی تفاوت معنی‌داری مشاهده شد. نتیجه‌گیری: داده‌ها نشان داد که اسب سواری درمانی اثر مثبتی بر کیفیت زندگی زنان مبتلا به مالتیپل اسکلروز دارد.
