نقش مولفه N170 در اعوجاج زمان ذهنی ناشی از چهره‌های هیجانی

مقدمه: تاثیر هیجانات بر ادراک زمان غالبا به عامل برانگیختگی‌ نسبت داده می‌شود که فرض شده است باعث افزایش یا کاهش سرعت ساعت درونی می‌گردد. هدف از این پژوهش، بررسی تاثیر برانگیختگی بر اعوجاج زمان به کمک تکنیک پتانسیل‌های وابسته به رویداد بود که می‌تواند به جای شاخص‌های خود ‌ارزیابی که روش رایج در مطالعات پیشین بوده‌ است، سنجه‌های الکتروفیزیولوژیک و عینی از میزان برانگیختگی ارائه دهد. در این مطالعه از تکلیف افتراق زمان دوبخشی برای بررسی پاسخ‌های زمانی شرکت‌کنندگان به چهره‌های هیجانی دارای سطح برانگیختگی مختلف استفاده شد. مولفه N170  به‌عنوان یک شاخص عینی برای اندازه‌گیری مستقیم برانگیختگی ناشی از چهره‌های هیجانی انتخاب گردید. مواد و روش‌ها: از 20 شرکت‌کننده در حین اجرای تکلیف افتراق زمان دوبخشی که با استفاده از محرک‌های هیجانی مثبت با برانگیختگی بالا (چهره‌های شاد) و چهره‌های خنثی طراحی شده بود، ثبت الکتروآنسفالوگرافی به عمل آمد. یافته‌ها: نتایج داده‌های رفتاری نشان داد نقطه افتراق زمانی بدست آمده برای محرک‌های هیجانی مثبت با برانگیختگی بالا (چهره‌های شاد) در مقایسه با چهره‌های خنثی به شکل معنی‌داری کوچک‌تر بود، درحالی‌که تغییرات دامنه مولفه N170 مستقل از مدولاسیون هیجانی محرک‌های چهره بود. نتیجه‌گیری: بر‌اساس نظریه پردازش دو ‌مرحله‌ای هیجان، به‌نظر می‌رسد  N170 مولفه مناسبی برای اندازه‌گیری شاخص برانگیختگی چهره‌های هیجانی در تکالیف ضمنی نیست و احتمالا مولفه‌های دیررس، مقیاس بهتری برای این شاخص به‌دست دهند.
