	<abstract>The aim of study was to evaluate the reliability of Persian form of quality of life questionnaire -36 Items in the patients with bipolar I disorder. Present study was cross sectional-descriptive. 50 patients with bipolar I disorder were selected from Mehregan hospital by convenient sampling. They were assessed with using of Persian form of quality of life questionnaire-36 items. 20 patients (40%) were in major depression phase and 30 patients (60%) were in manic phase of bipolar I disorder. One-week test-retest reliability were 0.79 in physical health, 0.54 in mental health, 0.57 in social relationships, 0.64 in social environmental health dimensions and 0.81 in the total scores of Persian form of quality of life questionnaire-36 items. Findings showed a good and appropriate reliability of Persian form of quality of life questionnaire-36 items amongst patients with bipolar I disorder. Therefore, this questionnaire can be used in the studies of related to these patients.</abstract>
