مدل‌ها و آزمون‌‌های ارزیابی‌کنندۀ آسیب طناب نخاعی در موش صحرایی

مقدمه: بهبود عملکرد، هدف اصلی مداخلۀ درمانی در مدل ‏های حیوانی بیماری‏ های مختلف است. برای آزمایش رویکردهای درمانی آسیب نخاعی (SCI)، تهیه یک مدل حیوانی SCI مناسب ضروری است. در این مدل، فرآیندهای پاتوفیزیولوژیک و تغییرات بافت‏ شناسی باید شبیه انسان باشد. به ‏نظر می‏رسد بسیاری از مکانیسم ‏های اثر دارو در SCI در نخاع انسان و حیوان مشابه هستند. در این مطالعه، ابتدا انواع اصلی مدل‏های تجربی SCI با کاربردهای مختلف بررسی شده است. در مرحله بعدی، آزمایشات رفتاری برای ارزیابی آسیب‏ های نخاعی ذکر شده است. نتیجه‌گیری: انتخاب یک مدل مناسب SCI  برای درستی انجام تحقیقات بسیار مهم است. اعتبار هر آزمون رفتاری به قابلیت اطمینان، اصالت و رایج بودن آن بستگی دارد. در این مقاله، علاوه بر نشان دادن مدل‌های مختلف و بررسی آزمایش ‏های ضایعۀ نخاعی، معیارهای انتخاب آن‏ ها و همچنین مزایا و معایب آن ‏ها مورد بحث قرار گرفته است.
