Participants completed the computer attitude scale (Bandalos and Benson, 1999). The data in the statistical software SPSS-18 were recorded and descriptive statistics, t-test were used to analyze the data. The findings indicate that there were no gender differences in computer anxiety and positive and negative attitudes to it (P>0.05). In addition, there were a remarkable difference in computer anxiety scores and positive and negative attitudes to it among students based on different academic disciplines. Abstract

According to reports about 30-thousand people spent watching television had the impact on their memory and recall that the results showed no differences between men and women. The people who watched less than an hour a day did better at every memory function. As these contributors watched negative political ads, physiological responses indicated that their body was reflexively preparing to move away. Memory differences were discovered before, during, and after the presence of negative compelling images. Memory for visual material presented after compelling negative images was better than memory for material presented before compelling negative images. There has been reported that the presence of negative video in news stories increases attention, increases the amount of capacity required to process the message, increases the ability to retrieve the story, facilitates recognition of information presented during the negative video and inhibits recognition for information presented before the negative video. Studies have been indicated that the introduction of negative video increases the self‐reported negative emotional impact of the story - making it more arousing and more negative. When capacity is controlled, arousing messages are remembered better than calm messages. When arousal is controlled, positive messages are remembered better than negative messages. Memory was worse for material that preceded the negative scenes. During negative scenes, memory was worse for semantically intact audio information such as speech than for nonsemantic aural information such as screams or crashing noises.

Abstract

Today, the relationship between health-related quality of life at school (general satisfaction, relationships with teachers, negative emotions), body mass index with stress is challenging issues in domain of health and psychology. This study aimed to determine the perceived stress and its relationship with body mass index, general satisfaction, relationship with teachers, negative emotions. During the correlational qualitative research, among the population of male and female students in Zanjan, 150 students (78 girls and 72 boys) were selected by a multistage cluster sampling method. The data were collected by Cohen Perceived Stress Tools, Quality of life questionnaire at school‘s Anderson and Brooke (subscales of general satisfaction, negative emotions, relationship with teacher) and body mass index (BMI). And were analyzed by using SPSS software and pearson correlation, multivariate regression analysis tests. Mean an SD of were (16.69±0.78) for age and (28.64±10.13) for perceived stress. There was significant positive relationship between perceived stress and BMI in girls. But there was not in boys. There was negative significant correlation between perceived stress and general satisfaction(r=-0.38, p<0.01). Perceived stress with negative emotions (r= 0.77, p<0.01) and with relation with teacher ( r= 0.51 , p<0.01) had positive significant relationship. Implementation of stress management programs in students can improve the body mass index and general satisfaction, relationship with the teacher and negative emotions.

Abstract

In the absence of a demonstrable epileptogenic lesion, epilepsy is often referred as nonlesional epilepsy. The term of MRI-negative epilepsy is used instead of nonlesional epilepsy, because histopathological examination of resected tissues has revealed lesion in 50% of nonlesional MRI patients. In general the chance of postoperative seizure freedom outcome from epilepsy surgery is less favorable in nonlesional MRI-negative patients. However thanks to advances in MRI technology, the sensitivity in detecting epileptic lesions improved dramatically over the last two decades. If MRI is negative, the definition of the epileptogenic zone has rely on localization information derived from methods such as semiology, EEG. SPECT. FDG PET and invasive evaluations. In MRI-negative patients when there was concordance among interictal scalp EEG, ictal scalp EEG, PET and siscom, 80% of the patients gained postsurgical freedoms, whereas the rate was only 45% when only two modalities were concordant. In this article I will discuss about step by step management of MRI-negative epileptic patients and the role of noninvasive and invasive studies in selection of these patients for epilepsy surgery.
